Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) for a free guided Tour 1 of Shorncliffe Military Cemetery, focusing on the work of the CWGC and the cemetery, led by an experienced volunteer tour guide. Meet inside the gate (what3words: neatly.beaten.spenders). The tour lasts about 90 minutes and covers roughly 700 metres on grass with uneven ground and some steep paths; benches are available. Limited on-site parking; no nearby public transport. No facilities/toilets—bring water if needed. Only assistance dogs allowed. Dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear. Note: last-minute cancellations are possible and will be emailed, potentially on the morning of the tour.
