CWGC War Graves Week Tour: Shorncliffe Cemetery

Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) for a free, volunteer-led guided tour of Shorncliffe Military Cemetery (Tour 1), focusing on the work of the CWGC and the cemetery’s history and burials from both world wars. Meet inside the gate (what3words: neatly.beaten.spenders). The tour lasts about 90 minutes, covers roughly 700 metres over grass and uneven ground with some steep paths; limited on-site parking, no nearby public transport, and no toilets or facilities. Assistance dogs only; dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear. Donations to the Commonwealth War Graves Foundation (CWGF) are optional, and last-minute cancellations are possible.
