A free public talk at The Old Post Office hosted by SD Projects, featuring Imam Dr Sayed Razawi OBE / Dr Sayed Razawi, Chief Imam of Scotland. The discussion explores Mizan, the Islamic idea of balance, and considers how Islamic philosophy, faith, ecology, spiritual traditions and ethics can inform everyday ecological practice and responses to the climate crisis, sustainability, resource use, environmental justice, social justice, stewardship, restraint, humility, reciprocity and care for the Earth. Part of SD Projects’ Intersections programme, the event includes a talk, audience discussion and Q&A, followed by food, conversation and time in the Reading Room.
