Folkestone’s unofficial guide to what’s going on.
A social litter-pick and nature walk led by Folkestone Wombles with the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership at High Meadow Local Nature Reserve in Dover. The route covers about 1.4km at a relaxed pace through meadow paths and some steeper banks, with chances to spot wildlife and learn about local conservation grazing. Equipment is provided, and there will be a midway stop at the volunteer hub for tea, coffee, biscuits and toilet access. Meet near the boys grammar school on Noah’s Ark Road and wear sturdy footwear suitable for the weather.
