Creative Folkestone, Quarterhouse Mill Bay, Folkestone
At Folkestone Book Festival, garden designer Juliet Sargeant discusses her book Soil and why healthy soil matters for gardens, biodiversity, food production, climate resilience and wellbeing. Sargeant was the first Black woman to win a gold medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The hour-long conversation is followed by a book signing in The Clearing. Waterstones is the official bookseller, and £5 Cost of Living Tickets are available without eligibility checks.
