Invicta Wind Orchestra presents “Music in the Shires,” a wind band concert celebrating the rural counties of England, featuring local euphonium soloist John Barrett and an engaging introduction from Jeremy. Programme includes Richard Hubbert’s The Journey (Euph solo: John Barrett), Edward Elgar’s Sonata, Ernest Tomlinson’s Folk Dance Suite, Philip Sparke’s Huntingdon Celebration, George Lloyd’s Forest of Arden, and a prelude by Dr Matthew Brown.
