Profound Sound: RIEKO and Guests

Profound Sound presents an immersive live performance by RIEKO (Rieko Whitfield), a Japanese-born, Margate-based artist and composer, featuring music from her EP Zakuro performed live for the first time. The set draws on the Buddhist story of Kishibojin and blends string arrangements, electronic beats, minimalist piano and powerful vocals. Raven Bush opens the evening. Presented in partnership with Folkestone Fringe, Profound Sound Folkestone, Creative Folkestone and Folkestone Techno Social, the event is part of an Outlands Network Exchange commission supported by Shadow World and Folkestone Fringe.
