Folkestone’s unofficial guide to what’s going on.
The Dance Visions Salsa Team runs Cuban salsa classes for ages 16+ at The Southcliff Hotel. No partner is needed. Doors open at 18:45; beginner fundamentals run 19:00–19:30, all-levels social practice 19:30–20:00, and levels 2–4 classes 20:00–21:00. Freestyle dancing starts at 21:00. Dancers should join the class assigned by the instructors, who decide when they are ready to move up. Monthly Rueda sessions require level 2 or above. Beginners pay £8, other class participants £10, or freestyle-only dancers £6. Class prices include freestyle. Book online or pay at the door by cash, which is preferred, or card.
