A weekly meditation course from Kadampa Meditation Centre Kent on working with difficult emotions such as anxiety, grief, loneliness, anger and overwhelm. Sessions include practical Buddhist teachings, guided meditation and reflection, and are suitable for beginners as well as experienced meditators. Each class lasts one hour and can be attended as a drop-in, or as part of the full 5-week series. Light refreshments are available before or after class. Prices: £40 for the 5-week series, £10 per class, £7 low income, and free for pre-paid monthly members and full-time students. Online booking is essential.

A free networking and skills-sharing event linking community groups, charities and sustainability projects with local professionals, freelancers and businesses. The programme includes a community project mastermind, volunteer matchmaking, themed round tables on topics such as marketing, project management, budgeting and governance, plus open networking and a locally sourced lunch from Kent Food Hubs. Presented by Sustainable Futures Forum and Good Folk with support from Folkestone & Hythe District Council.
