Following last year's solo concert, Bayle Music and Folkestone Early Music welcome back Walter Reiter (Baroque violin) for a performance of the next two works in the series, the second Sonata (A Minor) and the second Partita (D Minor) which ends with one of Bach's finest creations, the Chaconne (Ciaccona). Walter Reiter is well known to Folkestone audiences as the violinist of the Folkestone Baroque Ensemble, prior to which he was a leading figure in the baroque violin world in the UK and internationally. Formerly a principal player in The English Concert and leader of The Sixteen, Walter is Professor of Baroque violin and viola in The Royal Conservatoire of The Hague and at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London.
