 Folkestone's Beach School - Where wild things thrive Like Forest School, but where the tide is your teacher and the shoreline is your playground. At Feral State School, children explore coastal habitats, practice survival techniques, and learn natural navigation – all while getting gloriously sandy. It's time out to be untamed and find your way back to nature. We run spaces for child-initiated play and discovery and spaces for adults who need more feral in their lives - where curiosity leads and creativity, confidence, connection and learning follows. Where rockpools become kingdoms and driftwood transforms into treasure - you will never look at a limpet the same! Our spaces are designed to share Beachlore and Coastcraft - the stories that help us understand our relationship with the sea, and the skills that help us thrive beside it. From reading the tides to identifying marine life, from building windbreaks to understanding why the beach matters, through four pathways, we nurture: Wild Ways – Build sea confidence and beach literacy
 Wild Ideas – Creative thinking and making inspired by nature
 Wild Life – Marine ecosystems and environmental awareness
 Wild Ambitions – Future stewardship and holistic wellbeing We run: Monthly family beach school sessions > Rockhoppers for families with children aged 3-6 > Beach Imagineers for families with children 7+ Holiday Beach School > Child only full days on the beach for children 7+ Beach School Parties, School and Group Sessions > responding to season, weather and specific areas of interest Coming soon: Camp Feral > Overnight on the cliffs and in the tide at morning A camp out for all ages in collaboration with Kirsty Hogben, wild swimming teacher and eco-therapist Feral Gulls > Sessions for female identifying folk of all ages
