Trivia night themed around The L Word at The Coterie in Folkestone, hosted by Mekayla Bierman as a pre-Folkestone Pride event. Expect questions on the series, its characters, plot twists and memorable scenes, with prizes including a cash prize for the winning team. Teams should be 2 to 4 people. Entry is £3 per person, cash on the night.

The Social Table communal dining event returns to The Coterie at 23 Cheriton Place, Folkestone for a shared family-style dinner on the last Friday of July. The evening is planned as an alfresco gathering in the garden if the weather allows, otherwise it will take place in the main bar. The £35 per person menu includes a limoncello spritz on arrival, olives, garlic butterbean dip with crudités, pan con tomate, pickled grape, rocket and manchego salad, chorizo in red wine or mushroom in red wine with breads and herby butter, courgette, ricotta, thyme and hot honey galette, lemon parmesan and crispy sage linguine with an optional porchetta topping, and affogato to finish.
