You can bring your own journal and a found seasonal item if you wish. Seating includes chairs and floor space. Bring layers, as the room can be cool, and contact Holly about any access requirements.

Open to writers and creatives of any genre or experience level, the sessions use prompts and exercises to explore form, style and content while encouraging participants to challenge creative expectations. Spaces are limited. Sessions are priced on a choose-what-you-pay basis at £5, £10 or £15, with refreshments included and an optional reading list available.

An LGBTea social with tea and biscuits runs from 3–4pm, followed by readings from Cherry Potts, Steph Morris and Rachel Brook from 4 –5pm. Booking is required. A £5 seat reservation counts towards purchases, and the book can be ordered at a discounted price of £10. If cost is a barrier, email admin@thefolkestonebookshop.co.uk to reserve a free space. Ordered books are available to collect.
