60+ Keep Fit

Low-intensity, low-impact keep fit sessions for people aged 60 and over at Hawkinge Community Centre. Classes run every Monday morning and Thursday afternoon in a friendly, welcoming setting. Drop-ins are welcome, sessions cost £5 per person, and online booking is available.

Monday Over 55s Pickleball

Weekly over-55s pickleball session at Hawkinge Community Centre. This friendly social session runs on Mondays from 3:30pm to 5:00pm and costs £4.00. Paddles are available if needed, and online booking is recommended because places are popular.

Zumba Dance Fitness (Mondays)

Weekly Zumba Dance Fitness class with Jenz Dance Fitness at Hawkinge Community Centre. Expect an energetic dance workout set to music from around the world. Open to everyone. Adults £7 and teens aged 13–16 £4. Prebooking is available, or you can just turn up.

Kids Multi-Sports After-School Club (Ages 7–15)

Weekly after-school multi-sports sessions for ages 7 to 15 at Hawkinge Community Centre. Activities may include volleyball, short tennis, uni hockey, handball, basketball, kwik cricket, dodgeball, badminton, football and other team games in a fun, supportive setting. Sessions run during term time on Tuesdays from 5pm to 6pm. Cost: £3.00.

Fun Tots Play Session

Weekly play sessions for under-5s and their parents or carers at Hawkinge Community Centre. Activities include a bouncy castle, ride-ons, toys, games, books, balls and music, with space to run around. Costs £3 per child, and under-1s go free. Thursday Beginners Over 55s Pickleball

Weekly beginners pickleball session for over-55s at Hawkinge Community Centre. The session runs on Thursdays from 4:30pm to 5:30pm and costs £3.50. It is aimed at older adults who want to give pickleball a try, with paddles available if needed. Online booking is recommended as sessions are popular.

Friday Zumba Gold at Hawkinge Community Centre

Weekly Zumba Gold class at Hawkinge Community Centre on Friday mornings. This lower-impact session is aimed at beginners, older adults, and anyone wanting a gentler version of Zumba while still enjoying the music and movement. Everyone is welcome.

Roller Disco (Normal Session)

Weekly roller disco session at Hawkinge Community Centre hosted by Kent Roller Disco. The Friday evening normal session runs from 7:30pm to 9:00pm, is open to all ages and abilities, and costs £8 each. Sessions continue through August.

Family Roller Disco

Sunday afternoon family sessions run on selected Sundays through 2026 from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, with no session in August. Suitable for families and open to all ages and abilities. Price is £8 each. Hawkinge Community Fridge

Weekly community fridge offering free surplus food for anyone to collect or share, helping reduce food waste and support the local community. Food is donated by local sources, and no sign-up or eligibility criteria are required.

Race Night

A family-friendly race night at Hawkinge Cricket Club with table bookings available for up to 8 people. Horses and jockeys can be bought at the bar. Betting on the night is cash only, and guests are welcome to bring snacks.

Friday Late Skate at Hawkinge Community Centre

Kent Roller Disco's late skate roller disco sessions take place on selected Fridays at Hawkinge Community Centre. Sessions run from 9:15pm to 10:45pm and cost £8 each. The 2026 dates run monthly on selected Fridays, with no session in August.

Hawkinge Card Show

The first Hawkinge Card Show brings together trading card collectors, players and enthusiasts for a day of buying, selling, trading and browsing cards. Hosted by Chemistry Cards at Hawkinge Community Centre.

Halloween Craft & Food Fair

A spooky Halloween craft & food fair hosted by TKS Events. Runs 10:00–15:00 at Hawkinge Community Centre. Stall tables: £22 (or £20 each if booking 28/8, 31/10, 12/12). One lucky stall holder will receive their table fee back.

Rumble Wrestling in Hawkinge

Family-friendly live wrestling show at Hawkinge Community Centre as part of the 2026 Rumble Wrestling tour. Expect an evening of high-energy matches featuring wrestlers from the Rumble Wrestling roster. VIP Back Stage passes are available for a post-show meet and greet, including a poster and photo opportunity. The promoter also mentions special deals for birthday parties and group bookings.

Christmas Craft & Food Fair

Christmas craft and food fair hosted by TKS Events at Hawkinge Community Centre. The event runs from 10:00 to 15:00 and features craft and food stalls. Stallholder tables are £22, or £20 per table when booking all three listed fair dates. One stallholder will have their table fee refunded.

Hawkinge Star Wars Weekend 2027

A two-day Star Wars event at Hawkinge Community Centre marking 50 years of Star Wars. The weekend returns in 2027 with Star Wars-themed activities and attractions. Starts at 10:00 on Saturday 15 May.
