A Pride-themed community litter pick with Folkestone Wombles and Pride Folkestone at the Civic Centre. Volunteers can help clean up the town, with pickers, hi-vis vests, gloves and bags provided.
Fundraising sports-day style fitness event at Sweatbox Training for all ability levels, raising money to support Maya Nash and her family during her cancer treatment. People can attend as competitors or spectators. Suggested entry donation is £10 per two entrants, with teams of 2 or 4, and organisers ask participants to message Leigh Blackburn or Sophie Simpson before paying and include their team name with the donation.
A guided nature walk on Folkestone Downs with bird, butterfly and moth expert Ian Roberts. The group is limited to 12 people to help with quiet wildlife observation and so everyone can hear the guide. Sturdy footwear is recommended because the ground may be uneven. Organised by Chris Turnbull.
